The Bronxville Chamber of Commerce presented, “Light Up the Town, Come See Bronxville Sparkle” on December 3, continuing on December 5, beginning with Carolers from Concordia Conservancy, serenading store after store on Pondfield Road and Park Place on December 3.  

NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital Unveils New Endoscopy Services and Ambulatory Surgical Unit Suites

On December 15, NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital unveiled its new state of the art endoscopy services and ambulatory surgical unit suites at a socially distanced ribbon cutting ceremony. 

Pelham Art Center Faculty Exhibition

Pelham Art Center will hold its 2022 Faculty Exhibition, on view January 8 through January 29, 2022. This annual exhibition features new work in a variety of mediums by the Art Center’s distinguished instructors. Exhibited artwork ranges from drawings and oil paintings to ceramics and collage. This exhibition provides a great opportunity to collect original art from established artists, and to view the diverse expertise that instructors impart in the classes at Pelham Art Center.

The Picture House Regional Film Center Expands to Bronxville

The Picture House Regional Film Center announced that it will expand operations to Bronxville extending its film and education programs to the historic movie theater on Kraft Avenue that is owned and was previously operated by Bow Tie Cinemas. 

15th Annual Katie Welling Run a Great Success

Martha Wolfe Verscaj 1952-2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Martha Wolfe Verscaj. Martha passed away in November at the age of 69 while at home in Bronxville where she lived for nearly 20 years. 

The Reformed Church of Bronxville Honored at Westhab Annual Celebration Dinner

On November 18, Westhab hosted their Annual Building Communities. Changing Lives. Celebration Dinner for the Dayspring Community Center at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase. This year’s dinner marked Westhab’s 40th Anniversary, as well as the culmination of Westhab’s Dayspring Campaign. With the generous support of friends and sponsors, the Celebration Dinner raised over $635,000 for the Dayspring Community Center.
