Local Athlete Awarded Among the 51st Annual Golden Dozen Winners

The Westchester Chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame recently held a dinner to honor the recipients of the 51st Annual Golden Dozen Scholar Awards at Lake Isle in Eastchester.

Those honored are a group of high school football standouts from the 2023 season who excelled both on the field and in the classroom.

Alexander Chrostowski, a Senior at Bronxville High School was among six students from throughout the county to receive this honor.

Many of the players have a GPA close to 4.0 and many earned All-State recognition on the field. The students play significant leadership roles in the schools and hometowns. 

Alex has accepted an offer from Middlebury College in Vermont, where he will play football for the upcoming school year.
